Bitty & Beau's Coffee Shop Review

This week I visited Bitty & Beau's Coffee Shop located at 110 Franklin Ave in downtown Waco. This coffee shop provides an extremely unique experience. According to an article on their website titled "Blog: A Waco Coffee Shop On A Mission," the coffee shop was founded by Amy and Ben Wright in 2016 and works to advocate for those with disabilities. This alone makes this coffee shop very special. The article highlights that its' mission is to change the way people see other people. If you are looking for a place that encourages change and growth, this is the spot for you.

When it came to customer service, the employees were extremely nice and outgoing. I once again ordered my drink, which is an Iced Americano with Oat Milk and Honey. My drink was made very quickly and tasted great. It was sweet and had great flavor, which are important factors I look for in my coffee. There was strong sense of community that can be seen here as well. Baristas made conversation with the customers and were quick to provide any service they were asked to do. They work hard to get the drinks right, and consistently checked in with those who had already received their orders to make sure it tasted up to their standards.

The seating was also something that stood out to me. They have outdoor seating in the front of the building as well as multiple seating options inside the shop. Bitty & Beau's also allows you to reserve a community room that is located near the center of the building. It is a large room with comfortable seating and tinted windows, which provides you privacy while being in a central location. After finding a spot to sit, I started doing schoolwork. The music was played at a much lower volume than I normally find at a coffee shop, which was a relief and allowed me to really focus on my work. Overall, it is a great place to meet some great people and get work done. I highly recommend giving it a visit.
